New York Times series on the Future of Reading
The New York Times is doing a series called The Future of Reading which is about how technology is changing how people read. The latest article is called Using Video Games as Bait to Hook Readers. It mentions library video game tournaments. The first article, called Online, R U Really Reading?, discusses a small study where 90% of the students thought a spoof website about the Northwest Tree Octopus was from a reliable source. There was also a chart that shows the skills needed for online reading.
